Mario Super Cocktails au Scrollbar, Copenhague

Les geeks vont adorer : après les glaçons façon Tetris, un bar de Copenhague, le Scrollbar, s’est amusé a inventer des cocktails sur le thème de Mario Bros !

Ces cocktails, réalisés par Mike Khamphokeo, Douglas Wilson, Martin Colith et Martin Woo, reprennent le caractère de chaque personnage, tant visuellemment que gustativement.

Cocktails

Yoshi
Fruity, tongue-pleasing cocktail
Loosely inspired by the ‘Apple & Melon Martini’.

• 2 cl Sour Apple liqueur
• 1 cl Melon Bols
• 1 cl Lime juice
• 4 cl Apple juice

Shake. Serve with ice. Garnish with two lime wedges.

Princess Peach
Pink, sweet, and classy
Similar to a ‘Southern Peach’, but the ratios are modified to bring out the pink color.

• 2 cl Southern Comfort
• 2 cl Peach Bols
• 5 cl Cranberry juice
• 2 cl Lime juice

Shake. Serve without ice in chilled martini glass. Garnish with peach wedge and pink umbrella.

Bowser
Fiery red-yellow gradient drink… with some bite!
Modified ‘Tequila Sunrise’ – the Cointreau adds a nice twist.

• 2 cl Tequila
• 1 cl Coin-treau
• 5 cl Orange juice
• 1 cl Grenadine

Stir first three ingredients, then drop in Grenadine for the gradient effect. Serve with ice in tall glass. Garnish with blood orange wedge

Goomba
Oddly satisfying
Heavily modified ‘Cream Cake’ (for a deeper brown color).

• 2 cl Baileys
• 1 cl Peach Bols
• 1 cl Amaretto
• 2 cl Bols Cacao Brown
• 2 cl Cream

Shake. Serve with ice.

Big Boo
Frighteningly delicious

• 2 cl Malibu
• 2 cl Pineapple juice
• 1 cl Lime juice
• 4 cl Milk
• 1 spoon Powdered sugar

Shake. Serve with ice.

Shots

1-up
Because you only live twice
Play the 1up sound whenever someone drank one!

• 1 cl Melon Bols
• 1 cl Vodka
• 1 cl Milk
• Whipped cream
• Green frosting

Mix first three ingredients into shot glass. Place whipped cream tuft on top, then add dots of green frosting.

Little Mario and Luigi Shot

The sourness of the Kiwi Bols does a decent job balancing out the sweetness of the Grenadine.

• 1 cl Grenadine
• 1 cl Kiwi Bols

Grenadine first. Then pour Bols – slowly! – over a bar spoon.

• 1 cl Grenadine
• 1 cl Kiwi Bols
• 1 cl Vodka

Grenadine first. Then pour Bols – slowly! – over a bar spoon. Vodka goes on top.

• 1 cl Grenadine
• 1 cl Blue Bols
• 1 cl Tequila silver

Grenadine first. Then pour Bols – slowly! – over a bar spoon. Tequila goes on top.

• 2 cl Malibu
• 2 cl Milk

Shake ingredients. Pour into shot glass.
